Bought two of these and have been impressed. The IR works well, in fact, very well, the 3 LEDs give a decent amount of illumination. The zoom function works well, giving a concentrated beam out to about 250 m, this is more than acceptable and this torch performs as well as some illuminators I have used at ten times the cost.
