What does it do?

The Motion Activated PIR Sensor Alarm is a great piece of equipment to use if you are carrying out a paranormal investigation in a large area. The alarm it sounds when it detects any movement is incredibly loud, meaning it is good for large areas such as outdoor areas as you can hear it from far away, and also buildings with many rooms.

The device works by sounding an alarm for 20 seconds once any motion within an area is detected. It has been used in many paranormal investigations with positive feedback from users, who report it effectively detects motion and environmental changes.

How does it work?

Depending on the space in which you are carrying out your paranormal investigation, you may want to purchase multiple alarms and set them up in different rooms. The alarms cover a 110-degree angle and have a 7 to 10–meter range.

You can place multiple Motion Activated PIR Sensor Alarms in different rooms to help identify which areas have the most movement or changes during an investigation.

If any motion triggers an alarm, the loud tone will alert you immediately. You can then focus your other equipment, such as voice recorders or EMF meters, in that area to continue your investigation.

How to use it

To use the Motion Activated PIR Ghost Detector, start by loading it up with 4x AA batteries. The device has a wall mount which you can choose to use, or simply stand it up in the corner of the room in which you are carrying out your paranormal investigation.

The device is easy to arm and disarm, which you can do by pressing the button on the remote control. You can use this device in a number of different ways. Firstly, you can use it as a call and response or trigger object. This means that you can set one up within an area, and ask any paranormal entities or spirits to trigger it for a response, such as a “yes” response. For example, by setting up the Motion Activated Alarm for ghost hunting, then asking “is there anyone here who wishes to communicate, please trigger the alarm for ‘yes’” into the environment. If you get a response, then you can continue to ask questions.

You can also use the device as detection of where there is paranormal activity within an area. To do this, simply set up many different Motion Activated PIR Sensor Alarm’s in different rooms and throughout the area in which you are conducting your paranormal investigation, then see which alarms get triggered the most.
