The device works by sounding an alarm for 20 seconds once any motion within an area is detected. It has been trialled throughout paranormal investigations and has garnered some great results, leading us to believe it senses motion from anything alive or even any spirits or ghosts within an area.
This PIR Ghost Detector Motion Activated Sensor Alarm is incredibly easy to use and runs on AA batteries, meaning it is completely portable and wireless. It comes with 2 wireless remotes so that you can easily arm and disarm the device. The alarm is quite loud, and sits at around 105 decibels. This means you can hear it from quite far away, and can leave it in an area while you do something else. Depending on the space in which you are carrying out your paranormal investigation, you may want to purchase multiple alarms and set them up in different rooms. The alarms cover a 110-degree angle and have a 7 to 10–meter range.
You can use these Motion Activated PIR Sensor Alarms to inform the rest of your paranormal investigation, as setting them up in different rooms within your area of investigation will let you know which rooms contain the most paranormal activity.
If you’re in a building with many different rooms, you can set these up in multiple rooms while you carry on with something else or put your attention towards a different piece of equipment. Then, if something enters the rooms where you have these alarms set up and triggers the alarm, you will know instantly from the incredibly loud audible tone. Then, you can set up your other equipment, including your EVPs or spirits boxes in the rooms in which the alarms were triggered, as you know that these are the areas with the most paranormal activity.

How to use it
To use the Motion Activated PIR Ghost Detector, start by loading it up with 4x AA batteries. The device has a wall mount which you can choose to use, or simply stand it up in the corner of the room in which you are carrying out your paranormal investigation.
The device is easy to arm and disarm, which you can do by pressing the button on the remote control. You can use this device in a number of different ways. Firstly, you can use it as a call and response or trigger object. This means that you can set one up within an area, and ask any paranormal entities or spirits to trigger it for a response, such as a “yes” response. For example, by setting up the Motion Activated Alarm for ghost hunting, then asking “is there anyone here who wishes to communicate, please trigger the alarm for ‘yes’” into the environment. If you get a response, then you can continue to ask questions.
You can also use the device as detection of where there is paranormal activity within an area. To do this, simply set up many different Motion Activated PIR Sensor Alarm’s in different rooms and throughout the area in which you are conducting your paranormal investigation, then see which alarms get triggered the most. You will then know which areas have the most amount of paranormal activity, which can inform the rest of your paranormal investigation.
